The first two tracks are the stereo mix, exactly as the RØDECaster Pro records to the microSD card.
#Using mixxx 2 with rode rodecaster pro podcast update
Please explain what leaks, more specific: how did you configure your audio i/O in Mixxx and -after starting Mixxx- which Mixxx controls do you touch to experience leakage?Īccording to RØDECaster Pro Multitrack - How It Works (And More Features From Update 1.1.0 Explained) Are there any plans to update MIXXX or resolve the audio leaking across inputs issue?

I’m sure MIXXX was not programmed with RODE’s Hardware in mind, but I think the two are meant to work together. Using the RODECaster Multichannel with many other programs, I have deduced that it is a MIXXX issue. This audio leak also causes buffering, crackles and pops. The issue I have noticed, is that when MIXXX is set up with the RODECaster Multichannel for MIC inputs and AUX inputs, the audio leaks across the inputs. I am curious if MIXXX is planning to update to work better along side the RODECaster Pro. I am shopping around for software to use for my online radio station. RODE has updated the firmware many times since these posts were originally uploaded.

Read through some of the other posts on this forum about using the RODECaster Pro in conjunction with MIXXX.
